South Huckleberry Mountains
The South Huckleberry Mountains are mostly BLM timber lands popular especially for wildlife viewing, dispersed camping, hunting, OHV, mountain biking, and driving for pleasure. Know Before You Go: There are no facilities or services available. Be aware of the possibility of logging truck traffic. Potential exists for windfall trees to obstruct road travel in places. When recreating on public lands, practice Leave-No-Trace Principles.
From Fruitland, Washington: Travel west on Fruitland Valley Road for 6.5 miles until reaching the BLM lands boundary.
