Learn about the area’s ancient peoples at a well-curated museum, and to orient yourself to the mysteries carved and painted on the rocks, then take your knowledge out into the field on scenic hikes through the park. The area was once home to the largest known prehistoric Fremont Village site with more than 100 structures filled with countless artifacts.
There are several hikes of various lengths and the renowned Paiute ATV Trail also passes through. The Sam Stowe campground offers group camping and limited hookups while the Castle Rock Campground offers primitive sites and two teepees in a tranquil canyon.
